In the current economic climate in the western world banks and other finance providers are opting to protect their interests by calling in 'business recovery experts', with the co- operation of the borrower and working with the client, to avoid receivership and examinership, both of which in most cases result in significant losses to the bank, as in a forced sale assets held as security rarely realise their book value.
